The box scores don't show the improvement that we as a club exhibited in our matches with the Fair Plays of Easton. Rockhead, Professor and Reb played in their first club matches with the C&P and Rockhead and Professor had their first hits. Zagnut continues to lead the way for the C&P with his mighty strokes at the plate and his constant catches in the long garden. Moon Pie, Commodore and Rhubarb all pitched well in both matches (extra kudos to Moon Pie and Rhubarb for pitching in our first 1860 match with a different delivery and release). Given the improvement that we made from July to September, the C&P should be ready to take the next step in their October 8th match against the Fair Plays in Easton - victory!
